The BASE 2.5 is a user-friendly, versatile and lightweight Portable Power Station, designed to revolutionise power accessibility. Equipped to accept significant solar and hybrid renewable inputs, you can keep it charging while delivering clean and efficient power to your essential appliances. Designed for scalable capacity, the BASE 2.5 is built both for recreational and home backup use. The easy link up system allows you to add up to 15 extra battery units for serious energy storage!

Battery information

The BASE 2.5 Portable Power Station incorporates an automotive grade, high-quality lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO4), which can be cycled 3500 times before its original capacity is reduced to 80%. Having a capacity of 2048Wh, expandable up to a massive 32,768Wh by linking fifteen BASE 2.0-EB extra batteries, the BASE 2.5 has a significant energy reserve, offering extended periods of uninterrupted power supply. Its in-build power management means you can simultaneously charge by multiple sources while using your connected devices. With safety in mind, the BASE 2.5 Battery Management System (BMS) has multiple in-built protection features, to prevent overheating, overload, and short-circuit. These limit excessive power draw, overcharge and deep discharge to preserve the longevity of the battery. With short circuit protection and temperature control, you can confidently use this Power Station, knowing that your safety is taken care of. The BASE 2.5 is equipped with a pure sine wave inverter, capable of powering appliances and devices in situations where there is no access to mains power. It has an Uninterruptible Power Supply function, allowing your appliances to use grid power via the unit and switch over to battery power in 8-20 milliseconds in case of a power cut.

Boasting 14 power output ports, the BASE 2.5 enables you to charge and power multiple devices simultaneously: AC OUTPUT: AC Sockets x 4 (220V-240V/50Hz) perfect for running high-power mains appliances DC OUTPUT: The panels comprise multiple smart-charge ports that self-regulate the power your devices need: USB-A Port x 4, USB-C Port x 2, DC 5525 Port x 2, Aux Car Port x 1 and Anderson Output x 1, allowing you to charge and power smartphones, tablets, cameras, laptops, car accessories, outdoor electronics, and other devices with DC power inputs.

Charging

The BASE 2.5 Portable Power Station offers advanced charging capabilities and flexible options to recharge the unit quickly. It supports three charging methods:
AC Charging: approximately 1.5 hours from 0% to 100% state of charge from a standard wall outlet.
Solar and hybrid Renewable Charging: approximately 1h from 0% to 100% charge capability. Harness the power of the sun and recharge your power station using compatible solar panels (sold separately). The high-efficiency MPPT charge controller converts solar, wind (DC), or hydroelectric (DC) input, allowing you to go completely off-grid and enjoy the planet’s free energy.
Onboard Charging: Trickle charge via the vehicle’s 12V socket while travelling around or use the Sherpa Charge-500 Smart Charger (sold separately) that can fully charge the BASE 2.5 in 4.5 hours while driving, making the BASE 2.5 a viable onboard power solution.

General Information

The BASE 2.5 features an intuitive LCD screen that provides real-time information about battery level, power input/output, and charging status. This clear and easy-to-read display ensures you have full visibility of the unit’s performance, allowing you to manage your energy effectively. The BASE 2.5 is also APP compatible (via the OUEPES app on Appstore), connecting via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, so you can even monitor and control your power station remotely.

The BASE 2.5 has an IP rating of 21 and built with fireproof materials.

The BASE 2.5 has a standard 5-year Warranty for peace of mind and 10-plus years lifespan.
