The Senci SC6500iY is a powerful petrol inverter generator designed to provide reliable portable power for a wide range of domestic, leisure and professional applications. Producing a maximum output of 6.5kW and a continuous output of 6.0kW, it offers substantial single-phase power while retaining the benefits of inverter generator technology.

The inverter system produces a smooth electrical output with less than 3% THD, making the SC6500iY suitable for powering a wide variety of electrical equipment, including many sensitive electronic devices. Its 322cc 4-stroke OHV engine provides a continuous rated current of 26.1A at 230V, making it suitable for higher-demand equipment as well as general portable power requirements.

An 18-litre petrol fuel tank provides approximately 9.5 hours of runtime at 50% load, with an estimated fuel consumption of around 2.0 litres per hour at this load. This provides a good balance between power output and runtime for applications where extended generator operation is required.

Starting the SC6500iY is straightforward thanks to the electric push-button starting system, while a traditional recoil starter is also provided as a backup. The generator features a Low Idle mode that can reduce engine speed when electrical demand is lower, helping to reduce unnecessary fuel consumption and operating noise.

The control panel provides a practical selection of power outlets, including 1 x 32A 230V socket, 1 x 13A 230V socket, 1 x 12V 8A DC outlet and USB output. This allows a variety of equipment and devices to be connected without the need for additional adaptors in many applications.

Safety and monitoring features include a low-oil alert, overload warning, output indicator and circuit protection. The low-oil protection system helps protect the engine from damage if the oil level becomes too low, while overload protection helps protect the generator and connected equipment if demand exceeds the generator’s capacity.

Despite its high power output, the SC6500iY weighs approximately 56kg and incorporates integrated wheels and a durable frame to make transportation and positioning easier.
