The Evopower UKC55ECO 3-phase diesel generator produces 50 kVA (40 kW) when used in a prime power application. Prime Power (PPR) ratings are defined within ISO8528. The high quality Genpower LK224D brushless alternator is self-excited and includes an AVR (automatic voltage regulator) to maintain the output voltage and prevent voltage drop due to a sudden increase in load. The generator is equipped with 3x 16 Amp 230V sockets and a 3-phase, 63 Amp socket, along with the ability to connect direct to the busbar, all protected by variable, CHiNT RCD’s.

The heavy duty weatherproof close fit canopy enclosure is rust proof, powder coated and fitted with quality sound attenuation to reduce the noise level to only 70 dB at a 7 metre distance. Stainless steel fittings are used for all door hinges and locks.

Designed in the UK, the ECO series generators are much more than an engine and alternator, they only use high quality components in the gensets such as CHiNT 4 pole MCCB breakers, Varta batteries, industrial grade silencers, Cummins engines and DSE (Deep Sea Electronics) control panels along with a custom alternator refined over years of experience building diesel gensets.

The Evopower UKC55ECO is powered by a world class Cummins engine, turbo charged with an intercooler and is governed to run at 1500RPM to maintain a 50Hz output from the alternator.

The 4 Cylinder turbo charged 3.9 litre 4BTA3.9-G2 diesel engine manufactured by Cummins uses the highest quality components and Fleetguard filters. The reliability, longevity and fuel economy are why this Cummins engine was chosen for the Evopower UKC55ECO generator. The engine oil capacity is 16.5L and it is recommended to use SAE 15W40 oil, and use a 50/50 mix for the coolant/radiator fluid of 50% water and 50% ethylene glycol (anti-freeze).
