Ford FD6700S Canopied Diesel Generator

The Ford FD6700S Canopied Diesel Generator, providing 4.5kW of continuous power and 5.0kW of maximum power, making it an ideal unit for standby and backup usage for domestic and small commercial properties in the event of a mains outage.

With a sound reducing canopy to lower the noise level and weighing just 165kg when dry, the FD6700S can be moved across solid flat surfaces with four sturdy wheels, making it portable and easy to position when needed. The electric start makes getting the generator up and running easier and removes the need to use any recoil method.

The AC output on this generator is stabilised using an Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR), making it ideal for use on most domestic appliances. The advanced digital display shows the voltage, frequency, power, current, engine temperature, and generator temperature. It also shows the run time of the generator so you can be aware of when to carry out the required maintenance and servicing. A circuit breaker protects each the sockets to prevent damage from overload. A low oil alert also shuts down the engine automatically when low oil is detected.

The 13-litre fuel tank allows for longer running periods of up to 13 hours at 50% load so that you can be sure you are covered for outages that last more than a few hours.

Designed for standby use. For continuous power supply, we recommend a 1500rpm diesel generator.
