Premium Quality Battery Cells

The Golz BattPaks and Xpansion Packs contain Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Battery Cells. High performance, safe and efficient, these cells can accept rapid charging and prevent discharge during storage. They also have a longer product working life time of 6,000 cycles (approximately 15 – 20 years). LiFePO4 battery cells last 4 – 5 times longer than standard lithium cells, plus the lifetime of batteries containing inverters is approximately twice as long as batteries without inverters.

LifePO4 battery cells are the safest on the market due to their chemical and thermal stability. LifePO4 batteries are highly resistant to overheating and catching fire, even when accidentally pierced. This is why they have become the battery cell of choice for high end electric car manufacturers.

Durable and weather resistant

Built for real world outdoor and site conditions, these units are IP67 rated giving protection against solid objects like dust and sand. They are also waterproof tested to work for at least 30 minutes underwater.

More Power, for longer

The Golz BattPak produces 5kW (5000W) continuous power but can also handle the initial start up draw of heavy duty equipment up to 7.5kW (7500W). This power is produced using high quality sine wave inverters, enabling the battery to store DC current and convert to AC current, meaning far longer battery run time and larger capacity, faster charging times and increased safety as the inverter prevents surges. The sine wave power output is clean and regulated, and protects sensitive equipment and appliances. Equipment powered by sine wave last longer, run cooler and more efficiently at their intended speed, and generate less electrical noise. Sine wave is perfect for sensitive electrical equipment including laptops, mobile phones, cameras, medical equipment and electrical instrumentation.

Golz BattPaks produce a large capacity run time of 4.8kWh per BattPak but this is expandable up to a massive 139.2kWh when connecting up to 14 of the Golz Xpansion 9068 packs, linked in series. This can take your running times from hours to days, depending on what is being powered. The Golz BattPaks and Xpansion packs can also be connected to solar panels for trickle charging and extending the running time even further. Multiple solar panels can be connected to increase the charging rate, with up to 12 of the Golz 400W Solar Panels able to be connected per BattPak.

Extra Power with the Xpansion 9600

• Add The Golz Xpansion 9600 Pack – When connected to the BattPak 5048 it increases the combined battery capacity to a massive 14.4 kWh (Xpansion 9600 has a capacity of 9.6kWh).
• BattPak 5048 and Xpansion 9600 packs can be linked in series, with up to 14 Xpansion units providing up to 139.2kWh.
• The BattPak 5048 Contains the inverter and a battery, with the Xpansion 9600 being 100% battery and can only be used in conjunction with the BattPak 5048.

Solar Charging

• Connect up to 12 of the Golz 400W Solar Panels for a potential maximum of 4800W of solar charging power.
• Golz BattPak 5048 can accept solar charging voltage between 60-140Vdc.
• Idle packs can be fully solar charged or working packs can be linked to solar panels to increase working / run time.
• The BattPak comes with universal solar leads for easy connection and solar panels can be linked together to provide faster charging.
