Overview

Pramac’s PWB Portable Power Station is a universal Battery Energy Storage system ideally suited to a range of applications, delivering reliable power in the most cost effective and environmentally sensitive way. Energy stored within the unit is converted electronically into AC power. Power can be stored from connection to the grid, from a generator or solar PV to ensure the most efficient, lowest maintenance and best environmental impact is achieved. Real time monitoring is provided by on board display to ensure an efficient usage.

Battery information

The Pramac PWB1200 uses Lithium-Ion Phosphate (LiFePO4 / LFP) battery technology to ensure greater lifespan and safety. With a battery design life of 2000 cycles at 80% DoD (Depth of Discharge) the PWB1200 offers long term solutions for your power requirements. With a capacity of 1075Wh this unit can provide plenty of charge for your small electronic devices when away from a mains power source.

Output

With an impressive 12 output ports, the PWB1200 provides a great range of connectivity for your appliances. The two 13A 230V (UK style) sockets allow easy connection of your standard household appliances. The DC outputs consist of a 12V car socket and 2 x DC 6514 outlets. There are six USB ports, with two 12W USB-A outlets, two 24W quick charge USB-A outlets and two 100W USB-C outlets, for a range of smart tech to be used at varying recharge times. The PWB1200 also has a wireless charging point for convenience.

Charging

The PWB1200 can be recharged from mains, solar or even generator input. With a maximum AC input of 800W the unit will charge to 80% in just 1 hour and 100% in 2 hours. For solar input the PWB1200 can take up to 400W of DC charging with a potential to get to 80% in 2.1 hours (based on 400W of solar power and best lighting conditions). It also has the option of charging via DC car port for on the go boosts. With a standard 12V 8A car port the PWB1200 can reach 80% in 11 hours.

General Information

The PWB1200 features a detailed control panel, showing the battery percentage, input (charging) power, output power, remaining time based on current power usage, recharge time and a host of safety warning indicators to keep you always alert to the condition of the unit. The protections on the unit include short circuit, overload, over temperature and low battery protection. These ensure the battery and inverter are kept in the best condition for long lasting use. Weighing just 16kg and with a convenient folding handle on the top, the PWB1200 is easily portable and compact. Perfect for use when camping and caravanning, along with being a temporary source of backup power in the event of a mains power outage.

Parallel Connection

The PWB1200 has parallel connection capabilities (optional parallel cable required) which means in can pair up with another PWB1200 or even a PWB2400 to provide increased power output and capacity.
