The PEAK 2.2 is a user-friendly, robust, and lightweight Portable Power Station, designed to revolutionise power accessibility. Equipped to accept solar and hybrid renewable inputs, you can keep it on charge while delivering clean, smooth power to your essential appliances. Crafted with durability and portability in mind, the PEAK 2.2 is built to withstand both recreational and professional use. The sturdy handle provides comfortable portability, while the rugged exterior and solid construction protect the unit from certain impacts and scratches. It also features wireless charging and all output and input ports on the front panel for easy access.
The PEAK 2.2 Portable Power Station incorporates an automotive grade, high-quality lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO4), which can be cycled 3500 times before its original capacity is reduced to 80%. Having a capacity of 1536Wh, expandable up to 7680Wh by linking two PEAK 3.0-EB extra batteries, the PEAK 2.2 boasts a significant energy reserve, offering uninterrupted power supply for extended periods. Its in-build power management means you can simultaneously charge by multiple sources while using your connected devices. With safety in mind, the PEAK 2.2 Battery Management System (BMS) has multiple protection features built-in, to prevent overheating, overload, and short-circuit. These limit excessive power draw, overcharge and deep discharge to preserve the longevity of the battery. With short circuit protection and temperature control, you can confidently use it knowing that your safety is taken care of. The PEAK 2.2 is equipped with a pure sine wave inverter, capable of powering appliances and devices in situations where there is no access to mains power. It has an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) function, allowing your appliances to use grid power via the unit and switch over to battery power in 8-20 milliseconds in case of a power cut.
AC Charging: approximately 1.8 hours from 0% to 100% state of charge from a standard wall outlet. Solar and hybrid Renewable Charging: approximately 2.5h from 0% to 100% at maximum input. The high-efficiency MPPT charge controller converts solar, wind (DC), or hydroelectric (DC) input, allowing you to go completely off-grid and enjoy the planet’s free energy.

Sherpa PEAK 2.2 – FAQs
1. Which Extra Battery Models are compatible with Sherpa PEAK 2.2?
It is only able to be linked to the PEAK 3.0-EB model.
2. What devices can PEAK 2.2 power?
Please check the wattage rating of your device (on the product information label). If it is below 2200W, you can use PEAK 2.2 to power it. For powering multiple devices, plese add all wattage ratings together and keep the total below 2200W.
Please note, that some devices with built-in motors/compressors may start at 2-4 times the rated power, which can overload the PEAK 2.2, causing temporary safety shut off.
The DC output ports are limited to a 12V, 10A or 12V, 30A load.
3. Can the PEAK 2.2 be used as a UPS (uninterruptible power supply)?
PEAK 2.2 supports UPS function with a switchover time of 8-20ms.
4. How do I calculate the PEAK 2.2 run time?
Runtime is calculated for you and is shown on the display screen at any time you have a device drawing power.
General equation for run time = Total Capacity (1536Wh) x 0.85 (Depth of Discharge) / Load (Device rated power-Watts)
5. Can the PEAK 2.2 be charged while discharging?
Yes, it can be charged and discharged simultaneously by mains or DC power.
6. Does the PEAK 2.2 support dual charging?
Yes, the PEAK 2.2 does support AC and DC charging simultaneously. The DC is prioritised so you can benefit more from renewable charge sources.
7. How should the PEAK 2.2 be stored?
Please turn off the unit and store it in a dry, ventilated place at normal room temperature. Do not place
this unit near water sources or a wet/moist environment. For long-term storage, it is recommended to
discharge the battery to 30% every three months and recharge it to 60% to sustain the battery life.
8. Is there any other safety advice?
• This product is IP-rated 20 and is therefore NOT waterproof.
• Pay attention to ventilation and heat dissipation when in use.
• Ensure adequate space for the vent fans to dissipate internal heat when in use.
• Do not use the product in environments where volatile gas may be present.
• When cleaning the product, wipe it with a dry, soft, clean cloth.
9. Can this product be transported by plane?
No, it is classed as dangerous goods and must be shipped by sea and
land only.
10. Is the actual useable capacity of the product consistent with the capacity
stated in the user manual?
All batteries reserve some capacity to prevent them from permanent damage by deep discharge. The actual usable capacity of the PEAK 2.2 is therefore lower than the capacity specified in the user manual by approximately 15% so you can use up to 85%.
11. What is the storage capacity of the PEAK 2.2?
The PEAK 2.2 has a rated capacity of 1536Wh and a useable capacity of approximately 1,305Wh.
12. Does the PEAK 2.2 support an Extra Battery scalability?
Yes, up to two extra battery packs can be linked to the PEAk 2.2 to achieve up to 7680Wh capacity.
13. Does PEAK 2.2 have a built-in MPPT charge controller?
Yes, there is a built-in MPPT controller; use the GX16MF for 32V-95V input (700W max) and 5521 port for 12-18V (Max 100W) PV (photovoltaic) input or micro wind DC charging.
14. What kind of solar panels should I use to charge PEAK 2.2?
Total open circuit voltage: 32-95V (for GX16MF port only)
Max input power: 700W
or total open circuit voltage: 12-18V (for 5521 port only)
Equipped with MC4 connectors.
15. Why does PEAK 2.2 not charge at the rated Max AC input power at all times?
The PEAK 2.2 has a built-in intelligent Battery Management System (BMS), that automatically adjusts the charging input in response to the battery temperature and State of Charge (SoC), thus protecting the battery and extending its service life.
