The SG6000D generator is the newest model from Stephill’s Super Economy silenced diesel range. Very well priced and backed by Stephill’s reputation for British build quality, this generator has an electric start, Stage 5, Yanmar diesel engine close coupled to an NSM maintenance free alternator. Housed within a newly designed acoustic cabinet for noise reduction, it has a lower sound level than its predecessor, the SE6000D4.
With a reliable 6kVA (4.8kW) continuous output and a 24-litre fuel tank, giving up to 17 hours of running at 75% load, this generator is versatile across a range of demanding applications including hire / construction sectors. The SG6000D is fitted with an industrial two-wheeled trolley base complete with lifting eye – so it is both quiet and easy to move around.
The dual voltage (115V / 230V) control panel includes MCB overload protection for all sockets, along with RCD earth leakage protection for the 230V sockets. An AC voltage selector switch lets you easily choose which output is required, with low oil pressure, high engine temperature and low fuel level shutdowns for added protection. The canopy roof is easily lifted by gas struts so you can easily access the unit for maintenance and servicing.
Please Note: Dual voltage generators may only give approximately 50-60% of the rated output on 115V. Outputs are limited by the size of the sockets, based on the Voltage and Current (Power = Volts x Amps).
